Holly Hofmans

After graduating from Massey University with a veterinary degree in 2010, Holly has worked in Taranaki ever since. Together with her husband, she owns a 50-hectare farm and they have two school-aged boys.

Holly has always had an interest in dairy systems and in 2025 was successful in the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists examinations in Animal Nutrition (Ruminant), becoming an endorsed ruminant nutritionist. Combining this expertise with seven years of experience as a contract milker with her husband—farming 470 to 550 cows— has led her into consultancy.

Holly is an accredited body condition scorer and has completed extra training in InCalf and mastitis management. She’s practical, keeps her skills up to date, and focuses on helping farmers improve their business, animal health, and environmental outcomes
