Nicola Swan

Nicola joined Headlands in December 2023, bringing with her nearly 20 years of experience in the farming industry. She has worked across Taranaki, the Central Plateau, and Hawke’s Bay, farming alongside her husband, Leighton, and their two children. Nicola is currently contract milking 1,500 cows in the charming town of Patoka, located about an hour inland from Napier.

Nicola’s bubbly personality shines through in everything she does. She approaches each task with energy and enthusiasm, always ensuring that jobs are completed efficiently and within the required timeframe. Her positive attitude and strong work ethic make her a valuable asset to any team.

Outside of farming, Nicola is passionate about breeding and showing her Border Terriers, often traveling the countryside to participate in shows.
